Jama Masjid was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees. Agrasen Ki Baoli designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of India. Under the Ancient Monuments Archaeological sites and Remains Act of 1958 is a 60 meter long 15-meter wide historical step well on Hailey Road near Connaught Place, Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. A mosaic of a different assortment of stones and rocks, Agrasen Ki Baoli is an ancient water reservoir which rises from the depth of the earth to stand up at the top 103 stone steps.
